Baked Spicy Kale Chips Recipe

Ingredients
Step 1: Set your oven to a preheat temperature of 350 degrees F, or 175 degrees C.
1 Bunch of Fresh Kale
2 Tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 Teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper
1/2 Teaspoon of Paprika

1/3 Teaspoon of Salt
Step 2: Wash and rinse your fresh kale. I highly recommend using an all natural organic produce spray, as this will remove any water resistant residue. Once your kale has been thoroughly rinsed, gently towel dry it. Next, tear your kale into desired chip size pieces. Make sure that you cut away any of the rigid fibrous kale stalk, as you only want to bake the soft leafy part.
Step 3: Add your kale to a mixing bowl. Slowly and evenly drizzle the extra virgin olive oil over it. Next, sprinkle the cayenne pepper, paprika, black pepper, and salt over the kale. Now you will want to manually massage the kale until each individual chip has a nice even coating of the oil and seasonings. Do not mix the kale too aggressively or you'll cause it to wilt.
Step 4: Place your seasoned and oiled kale chips on to a large parchment paper lined baking sheet. For the best results make sure that you don't overlap the chips, as this will cause them to cook unevenly or stick together. They can, however, be slightly touching one another.
Step 5: Slide your baking sheet into the oven and cook your kale chips at the preheat temperature that we mentioned above. Bake the kale chips for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and browned. Do keep a close eye on them as they can burn quickly.
Step 6: Let your kale chips cool for roughly 5 to 10 minutes before serving them. Kale chips are particularly delicious when they're still a little warm from the baking process.
Storage: These baked spicy kale chips will keep for up to a full week. Store them at room temperature in an airtight container away from any direct sunlight.
