Ingredients
Step 1: Preheat your oven to a temperature of 350 degrees F, or 175 degrees C.
1 Bunch of Fresh Kale
2 Tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 Teaspoon of Salt

Step 2: Thoroughly wash and rinse your fresh kale under cold running tap water. Before rinsing the kale it is recommended that you spray it with a fully natural fruit and vegetable wash, especially if your kale is not organic. Dry the rinsed kale with a cloth or paper towel. Moving along, tear your kale into small bite size pieces or strips. You only want to use the soft leafy portion of the kale, not the hard inner stalk.
Step 3: Take out a large mixing bowl and place your kale pieces into it. Next, evenly sprinkle the extra virgin olive oil and salt over the kale. Manually rub and massage the kale with clean hands until each piece has a nice even coating of oil and salt. Don't smash the leaves while you're mixing the ingredients together, as this will cause the kale to become wilted and limp.
Step 4: Take out a large baking or cookie sheet and fully line it with parchment paper. Next, lay out your oiled and salted kale chips on to the paper. It's highly recommended that you minimize any overlapping of the kale chips, as this will cause them to cook unevenly and stick together. It is ok if the chips slightly overlap.
Step 5: Slide your kale chips into the oven and bake them at the preheat temperature for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove them from the oven once the edges of the chips are brown and crisp. Pay very close attention to them while they're baking, as kale will burn or overcook quite quickly.
Step 6: Your kale chips will need to cool for 5 to 10 minutes before you can serve them. Most people really enjoy eating them while they're still warm and fresh from the oven.
Storage: These baked easy kale chips will stay fresh for up to one week. Store them in a sealable airtight container at room temperature. Exposure to direct sunlight will cause them to spoil much more quickly.
