BAKED CHILI SAUCE KALE CHIPS RECIPE

Ingredients
Step 1: Please set your oven to a preheat temperature of 350 degrees F, or 175 degrees C.
1 Bunch of Fresh Kale
2 Tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons of Chili Sauce

Step 2: For this step you'll need to rinse your kale under cool tap water. It's wise to use an all natural fruit and vegetable spray on the kale before rinsing it, as this will safely remove any dirt, grime, or harmful substances that may be present. Once you're done cleaning the kale proceed to dry it off completely using a paper towel or kitchen cloth. Dry your kale very well as excess water can prevent the olive oil and seasonings from evenly coating the chips.
Step 3: For this third step please take out a large mixing bowl. You can now begin removing the tough inedible inner kale stalk. Next, you will want to shred, tear, or cut your freshly cleaned kale into small to large chip like pieces. Place the finished pieces into your large mixing bowl. If you decide to manually shred or tear the kale then please make sure that you have clean hands.
Step 4: Take out a small mixing bowl and then pour into it the extra virgin olive oil, chili sauce, and sea salt. Thoroughly mix these three ingredients together using a small mixing spoon or whisk. With regard to the chili sauce, do feel free to use your own favorite brand of the ingredient. If your selection of chili sauce is super hot then you may need to scale back the called for amount to a single tablespoon or less, as you definitely don't want the kale chips to be too spicy. The called for amount of two full tablespoons only applies to mild or medium hot chili sauce.
Step 5: For this step you'll want to slowly and evenly pour out the chili sauce and olive oil mixture over the top of your prepared kale chips. Next, roll up your sleeves and manually toss and mix your kale chips until each piece has a nice coating of the mixture. If you're using really hot or spicy chili sauce then you may want to wear protective disposable kitchen gloves when manually mixing the chips, otherwise the chili sauce could burn or irritate your skin.
Step 6: For step six you will need to line a baking sheet with non-stick parchment paper. Organize your oiled and seasoned kale chips on the baking sheet in a manner that only allows a minimal amount of overlapping. I don't recommend stacking your chips on top of one another when baking them, as this could cause them to bake unevenly and stick together.
Step 7: Place your kale chips into the oven to bake at the preheat temperature for 10 to 15 minutes. Once your chips are crispy and browned at the edges you can remove them from the oven. Kale chips are notorious for quickly burning or overcooking, so do keep a close eye on them. Once they are done take them out of the oven and allow them to cool for 4 to 6 minutes before serving them. Kale chips are particularly enjoyable to eat while they're still warm from the baking process.
Storage: These heavenly baked chili sauce kale chips will stay fresh for approximately a full week or longer. Store them in a cool cupboard or pantry away from any direct sunlight. Kale chips should be kept at room temperature only. When storing your chips place them in an airtight container with a lid.
Health Benefits: This kale chips recipe is very healthy for you, especially if you use an organic all natural chili sauce. I would advise against using any type of chili sauce that contains MSG or any other unhealthy additives or ingredients.
